This album always makes we get up and start hopping around the room like I'm at a hoedown. Great musicianship and it just makes me happy.
Favorite track: Durang's.
Wooden Nickels is expansive clawhammer banjo, groove-heavy fiddling, plus loud, yet introspective guitar accompaniment. This trio brings a fresh and oh-so-reverent perspective to both the Old-Time American and Irish musical traditions. Enjoy the tunes!

She is renowned for her unique and skillful interpretation of Irish and American traditional music. Laura now resides in Boston where she plays all the best pubs, parties, and park benches. She recently released her debut album "Life is All Checkered" with Boston-based Irish fiddler Nathan Gourley.

Wonderful music. Great playing by all. There is so much great traditional music around today and this is amongst the best of them. Ensemble playing like this is the best. oldjembo

Hello Aidan, I purchased your new album in April and have enjoyed playing the download. When the it arrived in the post there was no physical CD inside the case. I have been promised a replacement but have still not received anything. I only need the CD - I have the case. Obviously I can create a CD from the download, but that’s not the point. Hope you can help.
Best wishes, Martin D’Arcy
